Your Old Mansion: Art brings Detroit perspective to Michigan Central Station

A lecture series celebrating the past and present of Detroit

Polishing up the tarnished city that was once called “the Paris of the Midwest” is the theme for a lecture series to be held at:
2 p.m. on select Sunday afternoons; January—May
Christ Church Grosse Pointe, 61 Grosse Pointe Blvd., Grosse Pointe Farms

Mark Higbie of Ford Motor Company will share updates on the development of a world-class art park intended to complement the re-birth of the historic Michigan Central Station. Detroit’s arts and culture director Rochelle Riley describes the park as one of the most important projects in the city.

Your Old Mansion is a program offering hosted by the Grosse Pointe Artists Association. The button below will redirect you to GPAA’s website for addition information and registration.
