Artmaking for Veterans is offered by our community partner — The Grosse Pointe Artists Association
Veterans of all ages are invited to a series of evening artmaking events. The program is free and open to all veterans and their families on the second and fourth Tuesdays of the month.
Carol Ferber, who has been a leader in developing arts programming for veterans with PTSD, is planning the arts projects for the evenings.
Walk-ins are welcome, but for planning purposes, GPAA would appreciate a call to let them know you are coming -- 3131.881.3454.
Art can help you:
Reduce anxiety
Explore your feelings
Reconcile emotional conflicts
Foster self-awareness
Manage behavior and addictions
Increase self-esteem
There is no charge but registration is requested, so that we have enough materials available. If you have questions, please call 313.881.3454.
Artmaking for Veterans takes place on the 2nd and 4th Tuesdays of each month.
