In this class, we will learn how there is so much more to know about graphite pencils!

Can't draw? No worries! You will be given printed images to work with as we explore the different degrees of graphite, their uses, and how to apply them to artwork.

We will practice different mark making techniques, how to shade and create form, as well as how to use different methods to create the most interesting images!

Multiple exercises and small projects will be completed by the class to encourage confidence and experimentation leading the students to incorporate graphite pencils into their own work.

The instructor will provide all needed tools and materials, as well as a set of 12 graphite pencils for each student to keep.
