"Ode to Mother Earth," an exhibition featuring 61 pieces by 47 artists

For this exhibition, artists were asked to share the details of their relationships with Mother Nature and join the conversation about the health of the planet now and in the future.

Thanks go to the staff of the Wyland Foundation for jurying the show. The California foundation carries out the work of Robert Wyland, who grew up in Hazel Park, and is now on the international scene as an artist whose mission is to bring people together to protect and preserve the world’s oceans, waterways and marine life.

Mark Huetter of Fraser who frequently partners with the Wyland Foundation on projects will give the gallery talk and present awards at 6:30 pm on Thursday, June 13.

This is a preview of the show. It runs thru July 26 and is open for viewing, 9 am - 7 pm daily.

Please remember -- art is always better viewed in-person.

The exhibit is in the Grosse Pointe Artists Association Gallery at The War Memorial.
