THE GREAT CRUSADE:
ECHOES OF A GLOBAL CONFLICT
May 22 - September 7
“You are about to embark upon the Great Crusade, toward which we have striven these many months. The eyes of the world are upon you. The hope and prayers of liberty-loving people everywhere march with you.”
The Great Crusade: Echoes of a Global Conflict, in partnership with Selfridge Military Air Museum and The Grosse Pointe Artists Association, is an original exhibit and art installation in the Patriot Gallery located in the lower level of the Alger Center for Arts and Culture at The War Memorial.
The exhibit, on display for a limited engagement throughout the summer, offers a unique perspective examining World War II history and storytelling featuring in-person lectures, multimedia presentation, archival video, and historical artwork and artifacts.
