Sneak Peek into the Historic Alger House Renovation

Introduction of Historic House Painting and Decoration

Get a sneak peek at our restoration of the Historic Alger House Library.   Join Anthony Kartsonas of Historic Surfaces LLC for a presentation entitled Introduction of Historic House Painting and Decoration on Thursday February 27th at 7pm.

This presentation will look at the development of house painting as a craft and the different techniques used in decorative finishes.  We will also look at the major influences on the different types of interior decoration and how they have been used in historic homes, including the War Memorial.

Registration is complimentary, but please consider making a donation to support the historic renovation of the Alger House.

Doors open at 6:30pm, with the lecture beginning at 7pm.   Come early and grab your seat and a beverage from our cash beer and wine bar.
