n The Possibilities of Oil Pastels, students will be introduced to the preferred medium of masters such as Edgar Degas, Jean Francois Millet and Vincent Van Gogh and encouraged to develop their own style using the medium.
Experienced instructor Saveria Giovinazzo will introduce the tools used, and lead the class through multiple exercises and small projects encouraging them to explore the potential of oil pastels in their own work.
The materials fee will cover a set of 12 oil pastels for each student to keep as their own and the instructor will supply the tools needed for the exercises and projects.
In other words, all you have to do is come to class with the an open mind and a willingness to try something new.
