Senior Day Trip: Detroit Historic Tour

Discover Detroit: Detroit Downtown Adventure on the Q-Line

Join us for an exciting day trip through the heart of Detroit as we explore the city’s vibrant downtown aboard the Q-Line! This guided tour will provide a unique perspective on Detroit's iconic landmarks, historic sites, and bustling urban culture.

Our journey begins with a guided ride on the Q-Line, where a knowledgeable tour guide on behalf of Feet on the Streets Tour Co. will share insights into Detroit’s rich history, architecture, and the stories behind its landmarks. Midway through our route, we’ll disembark for a special visit to the Guardian Building, one of Detroit’s architectural masterpieces. Known as a "Cathedral of Finance," this Art Deco gem will leave you in awe with its intricate designs, colorful mosaics, and grandeur.

After exploring the Guardian Building, we’ll have time to enjoy a quick bite from one of the many local eateries nearby. Sample some of Detroit’s best bites and flavors from neighborhood favorites, and take in the energy of the local dining scene.

Once refreshed, we’ll hop back on the Q-Line to continue our guided tour, taking in the second half of the route as we see even more of Detroit’s downtown highlights. This experience promises a perfect mix of culture, history, and local flavor in just one afternoon. Don’t miss this chance to see Detroit from a fresh, up-close perspective!
