Sept. 11 remembrance at The War Memorial

Join with family, friends, and community members as The War Memorial commemorates the 23rd anniversary of 9/11. This will be a moment where all people can come together in solemn remembrance of and solidarity against the hatred that fueled the deadliest terrorist attack in U.S. history.

“While this institution honors those who have served and died fighting for our freedoms, it also remembers the brave first responders and victims of the 9/11 attacks,” Maria Miller, president & CEO of The War Memorial, said.

The Service of Remembrance will be held on Wednesday, Sept. 11 at 8:30 a.m. on the lakefront lawn of the historic Alger House at The War Memorial.
