Art lecture set at Cranbrook Museum
In an upcoming presentation, Leung Chi Wo will explore how his practice is shaped by the narratives embedded within the materials he uses. By playing with both reason and emotion, he develops an open-ended, non-conclusive narrative that transcends traditional modes of representation.
The free lecture is planned for 6 p.m. on Nov. 13 at Cranbrook Art Museum, located at 39221 Woodward Ave. in Bloomfield Hills.
Leung Chi Wo employs a diverse range of mediums—including photography, text, found objects, performance, and installation—to merge historical exploration with conceptual inquiry. His work questions memory, power structures, and the ambiguities of history.
