The War Memorial Celebrates Bravery and Sacrifice of Community Heroes During Annual Veterans Day Breakfast
Hundreds of veterans and active duty servicemembers will gather at The War Memorial for the annual Veterans Day Breakfast and celebration of military service Monday, November 12. Doors to the event open at 7am, with the program beginning at 7:45am and breakfast served at 8am. The War Memorial hosts this event year-over-year to honor and recognize the numerous servicewomen and men in the community.
Art and Antiques Returns to The War Memorial for a Four Day Show Filled with World-Class Designers, Collectors, and Dealers
The War Memorial will host its annual Art & Antiques show from November 1 through November 4, 2018. The event moves into its second year as The War Memorial’s fall fundraiser, adopted last year from Christ Church Grosse Pointe. Hosted in the historic Alger estate, proceeds from the event will support the preservation and restoration of the historic mansion, as well as The War Memorial’s Patriot Initiative Fund. Mary Kay and Keith Crain of Crain’s Detroit Business will act as this year’s Honorary Co-Chairs.
