Detroit in Oil reception planned for Saturday 

For one more week, folks can check out the photography of Scott Dolan. The art exhibition, Detroit in Oil, is featured this month. A reception will be held Sept. 23, from 3 to 5 p.m. at The Congregation, located at 9321 Rosa Parks Blvd. in Detroit.

Dolan’s artwork will be on display until Sept. 28. Exhibition hours are Tuesday-Friday 8 a.m. to 9 p.m., Saturday 9 a.m. to 9 p.m, and Sunday from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.

Shorestoberfest welcomes fall in St. Clair Shores

The first full week of fall means it’s time for Shorestoberfest in St. Clair Shores.

Set for Sept. 30 at Veterans Memorial Park, stop by to celebrate Shorestoberfest, presented by the SCS Cool Cities Committee. Folks can enjoy food, drinks, music, fun and more. The festival is set for 9 to 11 p.m. 0 PM. Veterans Memorial Park is located at 32400 Jefferson Ave. in St. Clair Shores.
