Detroit Harvest Fest & Food Truck rally set for this weekend

Fall rolls on this week with the Detroit Harvest Fest & Food Truck Rally which takes place this weekend on the Dequindre Cut Greenway from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m.

Organized by the Detroit Riverfront Conservancy, the festival features over 50 food trucks, six music stages and fun Harvest Fest Activities for the whole family. Admission is $5 at the gate and free for children under 3.

There will be a dozen trick or treating stations, crafting stations, a pumpkin patch and pumpkin decorating for kids, spooky science activities, a scavenger hunt and more.

Experience senior life at local expo

Over 50 exhibitors are set to gather at a free senior expo in St. Clair Shores.

Thursday, from 8:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m., folks can experience senior life at the expo, held at the Assumption Cultural Center, located at 21800 Marter Road in St. Clair Shores. The keynote address, at 11 a.m., comes from WDIV anchor Devin Scillian. The TV anchor will also perform with his group, Arizona son.
