Grosse Pointe American House to honor Hometown Heroes

As a way to show their appreciation, American House Grosse Pointe Cottage is hosting an Honoring our Hometown Heroes breakfast.

The event is planned for March 28, from 9 to 11 a.m.

“To the hardworking men and woman who faithfully serve our community, we are hosting a Hometown Heroes Breakfast to say a hearty thank you,” the event flyer states. “Be our guest for chef-made biscuits and gravy, and take part in our drawing to win a $100 Amazon gift card!”

Thank you notes from American House residents and team will be shared. An American House appreciation bag will also be given out. American House Grosse Pointe Cottage is located at 161 Kercheval Ave. in Grosse Pointe Farms.

Register now for Bunny Brunch and Helicopter Egg Drop!

Get ready for some egg-citing Easter fun at The War Memorial!

Hop on over to The War Memorial this spring and surprise your little one with a visit from the Easter Bunny while you enjoy a delicious Sunday morning brunch with your family.

The War Memorial’s Bunny Brunch is set for Sunday, March 24. New this year is the addition of a second seating option at noon. The first seating is at 9:30 a.m.

Following the brunch, our friend the Easter Bunny will welcome everyone down to the back lawn for a one-of-a-kind helicopter egg drop, also new for 2024! This child-friendly egg hunt will be one to remember as little one's search for specific-colored eggs to be redeemed for traditional treats and prizes!
