15th Annual Motor City Blues Festival

Detroit has long been a hub for Blues music going all the way back to the 1920s when people began migrating north to work in our burgeoning manufacturing facilities. With a rich history and deep appreciation for Blues music, Detroit is the perfect place to celebrate this musical genre.

The 2023 Blues Festival is held at the historic Fox Theater and the lineup includes Blues legends Pokey Bear, King George, Calvin Richardson, Ronnie Bell, Lenny Williams, Chick Rodgers and Nellie Tiger Travis.

National All Things Detroit Day returns to Eastern Market

Over 200 vendors are expected at an event aimed at supporting local businesses.

National All Things Detroit Day by Ask Jennyfer happens Sunday, from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. at Eastern Market in Detroit, sheds 3, 4, 5, located at 2810 Russell St.

National All Things Detroit Day is more than just a one-day event. It’s a community that has been built. It’s a mindset that supports entrepreneurial efforts and takes the concept of shopping locally seriously.

Each year, more than 250 small businesses are sought to showcase the best of Detroit, resulting in a unique marketplace experience that appeals to all. More than 12,000 visitors typically attend.

General admission is $5, with doors opening at 11 a.m. The Beat the Crowd deal, for $10, allows you to enter at 10 a.m.
