If you have been curious about plant-based nutrition, it's health benefits, and how you can transition from the standard American diet to a plant-based diet, then this is the class for you! Learn the differences between vegan, vegetarian, and whole-food plant-based nutrition, what foods to add and foods to avoid, the best protein and calcium sources, and how to create a daily meal plan. Instructor will share resources about cookbooks, local restaurants, and other meal planning information. Brochures and recipes will be discussed and sent home with students.
