Water Lantern Festival Illuminates Michigan
Immerse yourself in the magical experience of the water lantern festival on Saturday, June 3rd from 6pm – 10pm at Martindale Beach in Milford Charter Township. You won’t want to miss the #1 voted Best Cultural Festival by USA water lantern festival TODAY.
The festival will include food, games, activities, vendors, music and thousands of beautiful lanterns for all ages to enjoy. As the sun sets, attendees will be able to connect with one another and reflect as they watch their lanterns float across the water carrying their unique designs and messages.

Tickets for Salute to America at Greenfield Village on sale now
Your experience at Salute to America June 30-July 3 includes a grand stage performance with the Detroit Symphony Orchestra; rotating performance groups, including brass, ragtime piano, blues, jazz and more; holiday theming and decade vignettes, featuring 1876 Centennial activities, 1976 Bicentennial picnic, 1950s lawncare, 1930s Depression-era and more; military fife and drum parade; “1812” Overture performance with cannon fire; and more.
In partnership with the Detroit Symphony Orchestra, The Henry Ford proudly presents Salute to America in Greenfield Village. An exuberant collection of songs, food and fanfare connects families, friends and neighbors to honor the great American experiment. It will be a Fourth of July celebration unlike any other at Salute to America.
