31st annual Grosse Pointe Garden Tour

“Gardening We Grow” is the theme of this year’s 31st Annual Grosse Pointe Garden Tour held at The War Memorial. The tour is 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. June 23 and June 24.

Seven gardens will be featured in this year’s tour including a retail establishment. To go along with the theme, each garden will have it’s own special theme to show you what that garden has grown into.

There will be garden docents in each garden to answer any questions you may have on a particular plant. A master gardeners table will be at one of the homes as well as an ecology table. For the second year the “Seed Library” which is at Ewald Library will have a table in one of the gardens to share their wide variety of seeds. Artists will be painting Plein Air in each of the gardens at different times throughout the tour. It is always so interesting to speak with these talented people.
