Grosse Pointe Theatre presents: Anything Goes

In its 75th year, the Grosse Pointe Theatre looks to delight audiences with its upcoming adaptation of “Anything Goes.”

“Anything Goes,” the 2022 revision, is set aboard the ocean liner S. S. American, where nightclub singer evangelist Reno Sweeney is en route from New York to England. Her pal Billy Crocker has stowed away to be near his love, Hope Harcourt, but the problem is Hope is engaged to the wealthy Lord Evelyn Oakleigh. Joining this love triangle on board the luxury liner are Public Enemy #13, Moonface Martin and his sidekick-in-crime Erma.

“Anything Goes” is produced through special arrangement with Concord Theatricals.

The performance, running from Nov. 10-19, is at the Pierce Auditorium, located at 315 Fisher Road in Grosse Pointe.

Music and lyrics is by Cole Porter; the original book is by P.G. Wodehouse & Guy Bolton and Howard Lindsay & Russel Crouse; with the new book by Timothy Crouse & John Weidman. Tickets are $30 and can be purchased by clicking here.
