WCSX to host veterans luncheon Thursday

Each November, 94.7 WCSX celebrates Veterans Days- a celebration to honor America’s veterans for their patriotism, love of country, and willingness to serve and sacrifice for the common good.

To say thank you and to salute his fellow Veterans, Jim O’Brien, host of “Big Jim’s House” will be hosting a veterans luncheon at the Andiamo restaurant in Warren on Thursday at 11:30 a.m.

The luncheon will be hosted by O’Brien and the stories submitted from the nominations will be shared at the event. In addition to a full luncheon at Andiamo, the Michigan’s Traveling Memorial Wall will be on-site at the event. The wall tells stories of our heroes who have paid the ultimate price for the freedoms we experience.

For more information, please visit WCSX’s website.
