Chamber Soloists concert planned at Grosse Pointe Memorial Church
Guest violist Ara Gregorian returns to his native Michigan to join friends and colleagues, violinist Amy Schwartz Moretti, cellist Edward Arron, and pianist Pauline Martin, in an engaging program for strings and piano.
The concert is April 6 at 7:30 p.m. at Grosse Pointe Memorial Church located at 16 Lake Shore Drive in Grosse Pointe Farms.
Featuring the monumental Piano Quartet No. 2 in E flat by Dvorak, Beethoven's "Eyeglasses" Duo for Violin and Cello, the ever-popular "Gypsy" Trio in G by Haydn, and William Grant Still's "Mother and Child."
Enjoy a lively exchange with the artists at CSD’s trademark Just Between Us “talk-back” following the concert.

Tigers home opener set for Friday
Coming off a 78-84 record, good for second place in the AL Central Division last year, the Detroit Tigers return to the friendly confines of Comerica Park on Friday for the home opener.
The Tigers host the Oakland Athletics April 5 at 1:10 p.m. Historically, the Tigers record for home openers is 69-53, dating back to the 1901 season.
